Diskussion:Steven Montrose
Steven Montrose (*1938) ist Überlebender der KZ Ravensbrück und Sachsenhausen. 75 Jahre später erinnert er sich an den Moment seiner Befreiung: “They handed me food and I started eating, I was so hungry. I had these bad pains. And that’s all I remember.”

The horrors that took place in many parts of #Germany during #WWII must never be forgotten. Nor should the heroism of the men who liberated concentration camps and death marches in April/May 1945. Today, on the anniversary of the liberation of #Sachsenhausen by the Soviet army, we share photos of Nathan Steven Montrose (born Nathan Rozenberg), one of the youngest child survivors of #Ravensbrueck and Sachsenhausen, who immigrated to the U.S. after the war.
